Friends, family gather for Watkins graduation

WATKINS GLEN—The 2013 graduating class of Watkins Glen bid farewell to 94 students, Saturday, June 22.
Valedictorian Chelsea Kennard said, "this is the beginning of a journey." She added it feels like she started school at Watkins just last week. Kennard explained graduation makes you "think about time. How it flies by and there's never enough."
"There are whole new worlds with people waiting to meet us," said Kennard.
Salutatorian Elise Groll said "we couldn't have had better years in class," adding, "it will truly be missed." Groll also told her fellow graduates to go and represent Watkins Glen in the world.
