PHOTO GALLERY: Honoring volunteer service

The Watkins Glen Fire Company honored the achievements of their volunteers at the annual banquet, Saturday, April 18. The awards that were given out recognized years of service, training and response, as well as the Charles Smith I firefighter award winner. This year, Tony Specchio was congratulated for 60 years of service to the department. Deputy Chief Robert DeDominick received the Charles Smith I Firefighter Award. Nicholas Dalrymple was the top responder with 343 calls in 2014. William Beardsley had 97.23 training hours last year, the most in the department.
