Schools list board candidates

YATES, SCHUYLER COUNTIES--Candidates for the Dundee, Penn Yan, Hammondsport, Watkins Glen and Odessa-Montour school boards have been finalized.
For Dundee, there is one three-year term and two one-year terms to be filled. The candidates are Frederick Cratsley, Douglas Hammond, Jessica Shepardson-Wood, Brittany Gibson and Adam Hunt. A budget hearing and "meet the candidates" night will be held Tuesday, May 1 at 6 p.m. in the public meeting room of the Dundee Central School. The budget vote and election of board members is May 15 from noon to 8 p.m. in the public meeting room.
For Penn Yan, there are three three-year terms and one unexpired two-year term to be filled. The candidates are Emily Dinehart, Leslie Elliott, Aimee Perry, Alicen Yonts and Renee Bloom. A budget hearing and "meet the candidates" night will be held Wednesday, May 2 at 6:30 p.m. The budget vote and election of board members is May 15 from noon to 8 p.m. at Penn Yan Academy.
For Hammondsport, there is one five-year term to be filled. The candidate is Carre A. Doyle. A budget hearing and meet the candidates night will be held Tuesday, May 1 at 6 p.m. at the Main Street School. The budget vote and election of board members is May 15 from noon to 8 p.m. in the Main Street School.
For Watkins Glen, there are two three-year terms to be filled. The candidates are Kelly McCarthy and Barbara Schimizzi. A budget hearing will be held in the Watkins Glen board of education room Monday, May 7 at 5:45 p.m. The budget vote and election of board members is May 15 from noon to 8 p.m. in the Board of Education Room of the Watkins Glen Central School District.
For Odessa-Montour, there are three three-year terms and one one-year term to be filled. The candidates are Robert Halpin, Karen Rock, Dana Sgrecci, and Jeff Parmenter.
A budget hearing will be held Tuesday, May 1 at 6 p.m. The budget vote and election of board members is May 15 from noon to 8 p.m. in the H. A. Hanlon Elementary School, room 12.
