Dan Condella wins Penn Yan mayor race

PENN YAN--The official results of the Tuesday, March 15 election for the village of Penn Yan revealed Dan Condella won the mayor position by three votes. He received 259 votes to current mayor Leigh MacKerchar's 256.
Condella currently serves as deputy mayor for the village.
There were also seven people running for three available seats as trustees. Norman Koek led the voting total with 323. Following were Daniel Irwin with 243 and Teresa Hoban with 222. The rest of the results included: Bruce Gleason (167), Daniel Henries Jr. (145), Ralph Senese (142) and Rebecca Devine Godbee (132).
In the village of Hammondsport, Robert Kleckner was reelected with 118 votes as was Leah Butler with 96 votes. MaryJane Bray was defeated, receiving 85 votes.
