Reenactors demonstrate history, technology

DUNDEE--The Dundee VFW was turned into a mock battlefield as the Union took on the Confederacy in a reenactment of a Civil War battle, Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 14 and 15. The various units, representing the North and South, showed spectators how soldiers made their camps, loaded and fired their weapons and even battlefield medical techniques in the 19th century.
